CODY CANADA & THE DEPARTED got invitations to the Braun family and more friends for video of „All Nighter“

The new video of CODY CANADA & THE DEPARTED didn’t just turn out fantastic, it’s also as simple as emotional perfectly implemented. „All Nighter“ is taken from the current The Departed album HippieLovePunk and as on the album all the participating musicians are featured on the video. „All Nighter“ was written by Cody Canada dedicated to the former bass player of Micky & The Motorcars, Mark „Gus“ McCoy, who was drowned on April 12, 2012 in Idaho during a fishing trip. “When Gus passed away, I felt as if I needed to write something for him,” recalls Canada. “I felt so bad about that situation.” All the four Braun brothers, McCoy’s friends since their childhood days, are featured on the video as it is their father, Muzzie (whom Willy, Cody, Micky and Gary all grew up playing with as Muzzie Braun and the Boys). Willy and Gary Braun are playing in Reckless Kelly, Micky and Gary in Micky & The Motorcars. „So it really just wouldn’t have felt right to film a video for the song without getting the gang all back together again,“ confirms Canada the illustrious round at the historic Floore’s Country Store in Helotes, Texas. The video, directed by Tony Gates, also features The Departed bassist Jeremy Plato and many more friends and relatives.
