Can't Stop Progress

„Can’t Stop Progress“ besteht aus fünf Original-Songs und enthält den ersten Single- und Titeltrack, der die pure Rock’n’Roll-Essenz der Band zeigt. Das Lied wurde von den Bandmitgliedern Danny Kortchmar und Waddy Wachtel zusammen mit dem ehemaligen Heartbreakers-Schlagzeuger Stan Lynch geschrieben. Rock and Blues Muse zitierte: „The Immediate Family leuchtet auf und geht All-In auf der neue Single „Can’t Stop Progress“ der Band. Die Gruppe besteht aus den Studio-Legenden Danny Kortchmar (Gitarre & Gesang), Waddy Wachtel (Gitarre & Gesang), Leland Sklar (Bass), Russ Kunkel (Schlagzeug) und Steve Postell (Gitarre & Gesang) die Schotterstraße, die sich den unvermeidlichen Herausforderungen des modernen Lebens stellt.“

Following on the heals of the success of The Immediate Family's first U.S. EP "Slippin' and Slidin'", the band gives fans a deeper look into their music with the release of "Can't Stop Progress" a five song EP on Quarto Vally Records. The EP, which features all original songs from this supergroup, is a bridge to their much anticipated LP and documentary by filmmaker/director Denny Tedesco, coming soon! Danny Kortchmar (Linda Rondstdt, James Taylor, Neil Young, Carole King) Waddy Wachtel (Stevie Nick, Keith Richards, Jackson Browne), Leland Sklar (Genesis, Toto, Warren Zevon),Russ Kunkel (Bob Dylan,Carole King, Stevie Nicks) and the addition of prominent touring, session guitarist and songwriter Steve Postell (guitar and vocals).
