Schon seit Beginn unserer Official Bootleg Series werden wir bombardiert mit der Bitte, ein Konzert von RICH HOPKINS & LUMINARIOS in dieser Reihe zu veröffentlichen. Bisher ist es einfach daran gescheitert, dass uns kein soundtechnisch gutes Tape vorlag. Von der Sommer-Tour 2002 bekamen wir gleich mehrere exzellente Aufnahmen zugeschickt.
Wie die Jahre zuvor, als 2000 die Continental Drifters und 2001 Big In Iowa für eine grandiose Stimmung gesorgt hatten, liefen auch die Luminarios auf dem "Berg" zur Höchstform auf und verwandelten das Zelt in eine riesige Tanzfläche. Für Rich Hopkins stellte die Show auf dem Gaffenberg eine Art "Wiedergutmachung" dar, nachdem er beim letzten Besuch in der Kätchenstadt eine ziemlich miserable (und kurze) Show abgeliefert hatte.

Since we had started the Official Blue Rose Bootleg Series we received many requests to put out a complete show of RICH HOPKINS & LUMINARIOS. The only reason why it didn't happen yet was the lack of really good sound material. From the summer 2002 tour we got a fantastic tape from the show in Heilbronn, Germany, recorded July 6.
