The Wind

Die aus dem kleinen Ort Castlewood in Virginia stammende Band 49 Winchester hat ihren Namen von der Adresse des Elternhauses ihres Sängers und Gitarristen Isaac Gibson. Er und sein Nachbar Chase Chafin gründeten die Gruppe nach ihrem Highschool-Abschluss 2013. Kurz darauf stieß Gitarrist Bus Shelton dazu; Schlagzeuger Justin Louthian, Keyboarder Tim Hall und Pedal-Steel-Gitarrist Noah Patrick komplettierten später die Besetzung. 2018 veröffentlichte die Band ihr zweites Album „The Wind“. Die Band tourte weiterhin und konnte dabei immer mehr Fans gewinnen. „The Wind“ enthält Hits wie „So Damn Sweet“ und „Veruca Salt“. Das zweite Album von 49 Winchester ist jetzt auf CD erhältlich.

Hailing from the tiny town of Castlewood, Virginia, 49 Winchester take their name from the street address of the childhood home of lead vocalist/guitarist Isaac Gibson. He and neighbor Chase Chafin formed the group after graduating high school in 2013, adding guitarist Bus Shelton soon afterward; drummer Justin Louthian, keyboardist Tim Hall, and pedal steel guitarist Noah Patrick later rounded out the lineup. In 2018 the band released their second album titled, The Wind. The band continued to tour on the road with crowds growing along the way. The Wind features such hits as, “So Damn Sweet” and “Veruca Salt.” 49 Winchesters sophomore album is now available on compact disc.
