To celebrate their 10th anniversary: ??A reissue of their third album, supplemented with two previously unreleased bonus tracks. Slightly disheveled, long-haired, and with whiskey in tow and more or less tuned instruments (accordion, guitar, violin, piano, harmonica, organ, drums) in hand, the Felice Brothers began around 2006 to draw on the rich American folklore tradition, blending blues, country, folk, and ragtime in a fresh and, above all, slightly offbeat way with a touch of rock. In the style of Woody Guthrie and Bob Dylan, they told stories from the perspective of social outcasts and losers. This successful mix propelled the group to the forefront of the Americana movement. In fact, the core of this rugged band consisted of three brothers—Ian, Simone, and James Felice—along with their friends Christmas Clapton (real name Josh Rawson) and Greg Farley. The Brothers' breakthrough came thanks to Conor Oberst, who took them on tour as the opening act for Bright Eyes in the USA in 2007. They subsequently signed with his label Team Love and released their third album, "The Felice Brothers," in 2008.
