This is an extraordinairy TV Broadcast show, recorded live in 1992 at the Sweetwater Festival, Mill Valley, California, with various guests. Hooker is in good for sharing jokes and generally having a great time, and gets up to dance as the show reaches its climax with all the guests appearing onstage. In 1992, BBC Television shot a documentary at the club featuring Bonnie Raitt, John Lee Hooker and Ry Cooder. That same year, Hot Tuna recorded two live albums at the Sweetwater. Since then, dozens of bands have recorded their own “Live at the Sweetwater” performances. Among John Lee’s numerous albums, these live performances are one of the documents of John Lee Hooker's career. His extraordinary charm to get the audience with just his voice and guitar makes these recordings to a monument of any fan of the Blues. In 1992, Hooker at 71 years old, won a Grammy Award for Best Traditional Blues Recording and was inducted into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame.
