Colder Streams

Seit ihrer Gründung im Jahr 1994 haben die Sadies aus Toronto einen Musikstil entwickelt und sogar perfektioniert, der einzigartig für sie ist. Sie besitzen eine tiefe Vorliebe und Ehrfurcht für das Beste aus Country, Bluegrass und Blues (CBGB!) und sind gleichermaßen von allem informiert und beeinflusst, vom Garagen- und Psychedelic-Rock der 60er Jahre (Pebbles, Nuggets usw.) bis hin zu Surf-Instrumentalstücken und Punkrock. Das neueste Album des Quartetts, Colder Streams, ist ihr bisher bestes Album. Der von Richard Reed Parry von Arcade Fire produzierte Plattenteller mit 11 Songs zeigt einmal mehr, warum The Sadies in einer eigenen Liga sind.

Since their formation in 1994, Toronto's Sadies have developed, even perfected, a style of music that is uniquely their own.
