Acony Records ist stolz, „Woodland“ zu präsentieren, das neue Album des herausragenden Songwriter-Teams Gillian Welch und David Rawlings. Im Anschluss an ihre hausgemachte, mit einem GRAMMY ausgezeichnete Veröffentlichung „All The Good Times“ mischt dieses ehrgeizige 10-Song-Album komplette Bandtitel mit komplizierten Duettauftritten, die alle mit dem charakteristischen Sound und der bemerkenswerten Lyrik des Duos verbunden sind. Woodland wurde in Nashville, Tennessee, im eigenen Woodland Sound Studio von Welch und Rawlings (nach dem Tornado 2020 neu aufgebaut) aufgenommen und festigt die ikonoklastische Position des Duos an der Spitze der akustischen Musik.

Following up their homespun GRAMMY-winning release All The Good Times, this ambitious 10 song album mingles full band tracks with intricate duet performances all tied together with the duo's signature sound and remarkable lyricism. Woodland was recorded in Nashville, Tennessee at Welch and Rawlings' own Woodland Sound Studio (newly rebuilt after the 2020 tornado) and cements the duo's iconoclastic position at the forefront of acoustic music.
