Das vierte Album der Band markierte ihren kommerziellen Durchbruch und machte sie zu Weltstars. Produziert von Bill Szymczyk, war es das erste Nummer-eins-Album der Eagles in den Billboard-Charts und enthielt die Top-10-Singles „One of These Nights“, „Lyin’ Eyes“ und „Take It To The Limit“.
Das Album wird nun um einen bisher unveröffentlichten Live-Mitschnitt aus dem Anaheim Stadium vom 28. September 1975 erweitert, mit einem Gastauftritt von Joe Walsh, bevor dieser im folgenden Jahr nach Bernie Leadons Ausstieg zur Band stieß.
Sowohl das Originalalbum als auch der Live-Mitschnitt sind erstmals in Dolby Atmos erhältlich, zusammen mit einem neuen Hi-Res-Stereo-Mix. Das Set enthält Fotos und Erinnerungsstücke; die Verpackung wurde von der Grammy-prämierten Art Directorin Jeri Heiden gestaltet.
„One of These Nights“ war für vier Grammys nominiert und gewann den Preis für die beste Pop-Darbietung eines Duos oder einer Gruppe mit Gesang (für „Lyin’ Eyes“). Das Album hat in den USA 4-fach Platin, in Australien 2-fach Platin und in Großbritannien und Kanada Platin erreicht.

The band’s fourth album was their commercial breakthrough, propelling them to become worldwide superstars. Produced by Bill Szymczyk, it was the Eagles first #1 album on the Billboard charts and includes the Top 10 singles “One of These Nights,” “Lyin’ Eyes,” and “Take It To The Limit.”
The album is now being expanded to include an unreleased live show from Anaheim Stadium, September 28, 1975, featuring a guest appearance from Joe Walsh before he joined the band the following year after Bernie Leadon’s departure.
Both the original album and the live show will be available in Dolby ATMOS for the first time, along with a new Hi Res Stereo mix. The set will include photos and ephemera, with the packaging designed by Grammy-Award winning Art Director Jeri Heiden.
One of These Nights was nominated for four Grammys and won the award for Best Pop Performance By A Duo or Group With Vocal (for Lyin' Eyes). The album is 4X platinum in the US, 2X Platinum in Australia and Platinum in the U.K and Canada.
