Ehe wir vor mittlerweile 55 Ausgaben mit unserer exklusiven CD-Serie Blue Rose Nuggets begonnen hatten, veröffentlichten wir regelmäßig unter dem Titel Blue Rose Collection eine Übersicht von bei uns erschienenen Alben. Zu Beginn war diese Serie auch im Handel außerordentlich erfolgreich und für uns eine schöne und zielgerichtete Werbung für uns Label und unsere Veröffentlichungen. Im Laufe der Jahre gingen allerdings die Verkäufe immer mehr zurück und wir veröffentlichen nur noch sporadisch Compilations unter der "Collection"-Serie. Wir nutzen für die Zusammenfassung unserer jüngsten Releases vielmehr immer wieder die Nuggets-Serie, und so enthält die Nummer 55 wieder einmal auf 76 Minuten 17 Songs aus 17 Alben aus den letzten 7 Monaten. Darunter befindet sich auch ein Stück der Band Shurman, einer Band aus Austin, Texas, die wir direkt nach dem SXSW-Festival im März 2012 unter Vertrag genommen haben. Das Album Inspiration werden wir im Mai veröffentlichen - ein Gitarrenrockalbum einer Band, die zu uns passt wie die Fast aufs Auge!
Before we had started with our little exclusive mail-order only CD series Blue Rose Nuggets, we now and then had released compilations under the title Blue Rose Collection to wrap-up of our latest releases. At the beginning this series was very successful not only with sales through our website but also through regular outlets like record stores and electronic markets. From year to year the sales went down so we focused more on the Nuggets compilations. Once in a while we are using this series to present songs from our current album releases and this 55th issue is such an example - 76 minutes, 17 songs from 17 albums in 7 months. Among them is a brand new Blue Rose signing, the band Shurman from Austin TX. They fit perfect to our roster - check them out!
