Die 78. Ausgabe unserer nur über den Blue Rose-Mailorder erhältlichen CD-Serie „Blue Rose Nuggets“ enthält wieder einmal eine bunte Mischung von Songs aus älteren, aktuellen sowie noch nicht erschienenen Alben, wobei CDs wie etwa von Patty Hurst Shifter, Robert McEntee oder Dave Schramm seit längerer Zeit nicht mehr erhältlich sind. Schöne Randnotiz zum Stück von der Statesboro Revue: „Undone“ wurde vom Online-Magazin „Texas Music Pickers“ zur „Single Of The Year 2015“ gewählt! Vom Song „All Nighter“ von Cody Canada & The Departed gibt es ein wunderschönes Video, auf dem alle beteiligten Musiker zu sehen sind, darunter die komplette Braun-Familie der Reckless Kelly- und Micky & The Motorcars-Brüder. Zu finden u.a. auf YouTube. „California“ von Steve Wynn ist von dessen Album „Solo! Electric!“, was es nur über unseren Mailorder und auf den Konzerten des Künstlers zu kaufen gibt. Brandneue Songs sind auf der aktuellen „Nuggets“-Ausgabe zu finden von Tom Gillam, Shurman und den Wood Brothers.
The 78th edition of the Blue Rose mailorder-only CD series "Blue Rose Nuggets" again features a colorful mix of songs taken from previous, current and not yet released albums, among albums by Patty Hurst Shifter, Robert McEntee or Dave Schramm which are deleted already for quiet some time. Nice note to the track by The Statesboro Revue: "Undone" was voted "Best Single Of The Year 2015" by the online magazine "Texas Music Pickers"! There is a wonderful video (on YouTube and many other websites) of "All Nighter" by Cody Canada & The Departed featuring all the participating musicians incl. the complete Braun family with the Reckless Kelly and Micky & The Motorcars brothers and their father Muzzie. "California" by Steve Wynn is taken from his album "Solo! Electric" which is only available at our webshop and Steve's live shows. Brand new songs on this "Nuggets" issue are from Tom Gillam, the Wood Brothers and the band Shurman.
