30 Ausgaben "Blue Rose Nuggets" - wer hätte das jemals für möglich gehalten? Konzipiert auf gerade mal 12 Folgen, sind wir nun bereits mitten drin in der "Season 3", wie das bei TV-Serien heutzutage heißt. Und auch diese Edition hat wieder allerhand zu bieten: Neben brandneuen Songs von ebenso brandneuen Alben (Ad Vanderveen, Elliott Murphy und gar schon Steve Wynn, dessen neues Werk "Crossing Dragon Bridge" erst am 18.4. erscheint) gibt es wieder einige Kostbarkeiten aus unserem umfangreichen Backkatalaog sowie zwei exklusive Live-Schmankerl mit Todd Thibaud (unterstützt von Joseph Parsons) und einem Vorgeschmack auf dessen noch in diesem Jahr erscheinenden neuen Album sowie einem ersten Hörgenuss von unserer letztjährigen Blue Rose Christmas Party. Nicht unerwähnt bleiben sollte das Video von "City Of Immigrants" mit Steve Earle aus dessen Album "Washington Square Serenade", das Anfang Februar einen Grammy in der Rubrik "Best Contemporary Folk/Americana Album" gewonnen hatte.
What was originally planned as a series of 12 compilation CDs is now already in the midst of ist third "season". And #30 again has a lot to offer: among brandnew songs (ad Vanderveen, Elliott Murphy and Steve Wynn whose new album "Crossing Dragon Bridge" will be out on April 18) there are some little pearls taken from the big backcatalog plus two exklusive live gems of Todd Thibaud (with Joseph Parsons) and a sneak preview from his new album to be released later this year plus "Like A Hurricane" by the Blue Rose Rockestra, recorded at last year's Blue Rose Christmas Party in Hannover. This issue also features a video of Steve Earle's "City Of Immigrants", taken from his Grammy Award winning album "Washington Street Serenade".
