Eine weitere "runde Zahl" bei unserer kleinen, aber äußerst beliebten Mailorder-Serie Blue Rose Nuggets. Feine Steinchen auch diesmal wieder - viele Neuheiten wie James McMurtry, Corb Lund, Wrinkle Neck Mules, Elliott Murphy und Joseph Parsons. Besonders freuen wir uns über das neue Familienmitglied Tift Merritt, die mit einem rockigen Live-Album ihren Einstand feiert. Nicht weniger rockig das Reunion-Alben von Jason & The Scorchers, das im Februar 2010 erscheinen wird. Die Band um Jason Ringenberg und Warner E. Hodges kommt exklusiv für die Show bei der Blue Rose Christmas Party aus den USA und wird uns zeigen, wie groß man das Wort ROCK schreiben kann. Keine richtig Unbekannten sind US Rails. Das Quintett kommt aus Philadelphia und besteht aus Joseph Parsons, Tom Gillam, Ben Arnold und Scott Bricklin - gleich vier Sänger/Gitarristen sowie Drummer Matt Muir bilden das Grundgerüst für eine kleine Supergroup, die ebenfalls die Blue Rose Christmas Party 2009 veredeln wird. Dies hatten bereits die Bottle Rockets im Vorjahr getan und wir haben endlich die Mitschnitte sowohl von ihnen als auch vom Blue Rose Rockestra fertig. Erscheinen wird das Package wohl erst Anfang 2010, aber jetzt haben wir schon so lange gewartet, da kommt es auf die paar Wochen auch nicht mehr an.

Nice nuggets again this time - many new releases like James McMurtry, Corb Lund, Wrinkle Neck Mules, Elliott Murphy and Joseph Parsons. We are extremely proud to welcome Tift Merritt as a new member of the Blue Rose family who celebrates her entry with a fantastic live record. As rocking as "Home Is Loud" comes the reuinion album of Jason & the Scorchers. The band featuring Jason Ringenberg and Warner E. Hodges are gonna play an exclusive show at the Blue Rose Christmas Party! Not really unknown are the US Rails. The five-piece from Philadelphia features Blue Rose acts Joseph Parsons and Tom Gillam alongside with Ben Arnold, Scott Bricklin and Matt Muir. From last years Christmas Party we have previously unrleased tracks from the Bottle Rockets and the Blue Rose Rockestra.
