Blackbird On A Lonely Wire

Will Hoge hat unglaubliche Erinnerungen an die Entstehung des Originalalbums „Blackbird On A Lonely Wire“. Er arbeitete sehr lange daran, während er in L.A. lebte, sich verliebte und wieder entliebte und lernte, wie man richtig eine Platte macht. Jetzt, all die Jahre später, wollte Will es den Leuten so präsentieren, wie es gehört werden sollte. Will versammelte einige seiner besten Freunde und unglaublichen Musiker (Christopher Griffiths, Atom Willard, Mark Masefield, Butch Walker, Nathan Keeterle und Julia Hoge) um sich und sie nahmen das komplette Album in Wills Heimatstadt Nashville neu auf. Wills Version hat all das Feuer und die Leidenschaft des Originals, mit etwas mehr Soul und Biss, die damals in Wills Zeit bei einem Majorlabel etwas verwaschen waren.

Will Hoge has incredible memories of making the original Blackbird On A Lonely Wire album. He worked on it for a very long time while living in LA, falling in love and falling out of love and learning about how to really make a record. Now all these years later, Will wanted to bring it to people the way it should be heard. Will assembled some of his dearest pals and all around incredible musicians (Christopher Griffiths, Atom Willard, Mark Masefield, Butch Walker, Nathan Keeterle, and Julia Hoge) and they re-recorded the entire album in Will's hometown of Nashville. Will's Version has all the fire and passion of the original with some added soul and grit that got a little washed out way back in Will's major label days.
