Nothing Stays The Same - The Story of The Saxon Pub

Wer als Musikfan jemals in der texanischen Hauptstadt Austin war und dem Saxon Pub keinen Besuch abgestattet hat, der/die hat die "Live Music Capital of the World" eigentlich nicht gesehen. Seit 1990 gibt es das Musikvenue auf dem South Lamar Boulevard und trotzt allen Widrigkeiten wie gestiegene Pachtkosten oder gar den Verkauf des Grundstücks. Sieben Tage in der Woche von 16 Uhr bis weit nach Mitternacht hat der kultige, von außen unscheinbar wirkende Club seine Türen geöffnet, in dem so gut wie jeder heimische Musiker bereits aufgetreten ist, aber auch weit über die Stadt hinaus einen Ruf besitzt wie kaum eine andere Location in den USA.
Diese DVD schildert die Geschichte des Saxon Pub, lässt viele Musiker zu Wort kommen und zeigt Ausschnitte von Live-Auftritten.
