Die 41. Ausgabe der ausschließlich über unseren Webshop erhältlichen CD-Compilation-Serie „Blue Rose Nuggets“ ist nicht nur wieder vollgepackt mit Musik unseres Labelprogramms („vollgepackt“ ist bei einer Gesamtspielzeit von 76 Minuten mehr als zutreffend). Sie enthält diesmal neben ausgewählten Stücken des umfangreichen Kataloges sehr viele Neuheiten, die in den ersten Monaten des Jahres 2010 erscheinen werden wie etwa neue Alben von Hank Shizzoe, Cracker, Jon Dee Graham oder Julian Dawson. Als besondere Bonbons sind in dieser Ausgabe zwei nicht auf Tonträger erhältliche Live-Aufnahmen der Resentments und der Band Of Heathens dabei, die den Kevin Welch-Song „Millionaire“ bei einer Show ihrer Europatour im Oktober 2009 präsentiert hatten. „People Ask Me“, gesungen von Resentments-Bassist Bruce Hughes, ist ein echter Crowd-Pleaser bei den Live-Shows des Quintetts aus Austin, Texas.
This 41st issue of the exclusively through our webshop available CD compilation series "Blue Rose Nuggets" is also packed with music taken from our immense catalog ("packed" is the right word for a CD with a playing time of 76 minutes). This issue contains many new releases to be out in the first weeks of 2010 like new albums by Hank Shizzoe, Cracker, Jon Dee Graham or Julian Dawson. Special tracks are previously not avaialble live recordings of the Resentments and the Band Of Heathens covering the Kevin Welch tune "Millionaire", performed at a show during the band's 2008 fall tour. "People Ask Me", sung by Resentments bass player Bruce Hughes, is a real crowd pleaser at their live shows.
