Und wieder wurde die maximale Spielzeit einer CD von ca. 80 Minuten fast erreicht - die 68. Ausgabe der nur bei Blue Rose erhältlichen CD-Serie Blue Rose Nuggets enthält diesmal gleich 17 Songs bei 78 Minuten Laufzeit! Gut die Hälfte der Stücke sind erst kürzlich erschienenen oder noch nicht veröffentlichten Alben entnommen, wobei die Los Lonely Boys, die South Austin Moonlighters und NQ Arbuckle neu zur Labelfamilie gestoßen waren und sich nun mit jeweils einem Track vorstellen. Ebenfalls neu sind die Wild Ponies und die Howlin' Brothers, die beiden ersten Veröffentlichungen des von Blue Rose und den holländischen Kollegen von CRS gemeinsam ins Leben gerufenen Labels Continental Rose. Den Abschluss neuer CDs macht der US-Amerikaner Will Kimbrough auf dem schwedischen Rootsy-Label, das ebenfalls hierzulande von Blue Rose vermarktet wird. Die zweite Hälfte der Nuggets-CD besteht sowohl aus Titeln des umfangreichen Label-Kataloges als auch aus zwei bisher unveröffentlichten Coverversionen von Chris Burroughs, der den Elvis-Klassiker "His Latest Flame" zum Besten gibt, sowie Reto Burrell, der mit dem Cheap Trick-Evergreen "I Want You To Want Me" zur Party aufruft.
Once again we have almost reached the capacity of 80 minutes on a CD - the 68th issue of the Blue Rose mailorder-only available CD compilation series Blue Rose Nuggets contains seventeen songs with a total playing time of 78 minutes! Half of the CD tracks are taken from brandnew or not even available albums, including the new "family members" Los Lonely Boys, South Austin Moonlighters and NQ Arbuckle. Also new are the Wild Ponies and the Howlin' Brothers, the first two releases on the new label Continental Rose, a collaboration of Blue Rose and the Dutch company CRS. Will Kimbrough finishes the list of new artists with is new album Sideshow Love on the Swedish Rootsy label. The other half of the Nuggets CD contains songs from the hugh label catalog plus two previously unissued covers from Chris Burroughs with the Elvis Presley classic "His Latest Flame" and Reto Burrell with "I Want You To Want Me" from Cheap Trick.
